President of the International Congress for the Protection of The International Congress Organization “SHIELD” Daher Saleh Muhamed took part in a regional round table for representatives of religious and belief communities, civil society, local authorities, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, and international and national experts on freedom of religion or opinion on the topic “The Role of Dialogue in Improving the Security of Religious and Belief Communities.”

The event was attended by representatives of civil society, religious and belief communities, local/regional authorities, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights and international and national experts, and others.
The round table covered such topics as What is dialogue and what are the forms of dialogue? What is the role and purpose of the dialogue? How can dialogue improve the security of religious and belief communities? What factors contribute to maintaining a long-term, open, inclusive, and transparent dialogue? Who should participate in the dialogue? (i.e., involvement of actors outside of formal religious organizations, new or small religious and belief communities, including individuals and groups with diverse religious or non-religious beliefs, and the active participation of women and youth).
