25.05.2015 in the capital city of AL-Hashimi kingdom Amman Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine Sergey Pasko held a meeting with the head of the legal department of the International Congress on protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens «Shield» Alexander Matyakin.
Representative of the Congress «Shield» in the Middle East and Africa Dr. Jamal Al-Sharif and Dr. Satam Al-Faiz «Ambassador of Peace» Congress «Shield.»
Alexander Matyakin said about the opening of a branch of the International Congress «Shield» in the AL-Hashimi Kingdom of Jordan, also in the Middle East and North Africa.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine Sergey Pasko thanked the «Shield» for active work in the field of protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens. He also expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation.
Ukrainians in Amman celebrated sixty-ninth anniversary of independence, and Jordan embroidery day .
Before the opening there was an oration by the Ambassador of Ukraine Sergey Pasko. On the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the independence of Jordan event participants have planted trees in the park of the Jordanian-Ukrainian friendship, which is a further evidence of friendly relations between the two nations.
