In March 17, 2016 at the office of the International Organization «The Shield”, there was a meeting between the President of the International Organization Daher Saleh and the President of the Palestinian diaspora in Odessa region Gassan Al-Akhras. Also at the  meeting, was present the Vice-president of the International organization «Shield» Alexander G. Matyakin.

During the meeting were discussed issues of the cooperation of the organizations and common advocacy.
