Dear Andrey Vladimrovich!
Lately the human rights activists of our organization found out that in The Supreme Board January 25, 2017 registered the bill № 5715 about the transfer of Ukrainian Embassy from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem. The corresponding bill submitted Alexander Feldman – Ukrainian MP of the VIII convocation.
The International congress on protection of rights and freedoms of citizens “Shield” calls upon not to do this sort of issues and not to approve a bill № 5715. The transfer of Ukrainian Embassy from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem will de facto signify the recognition of the debatable city as the capital of Israel. This step will have catastrophic consequences for the peace process, for the idea of coexistence of two states, for the stability and safety of all region.
There is for a long time in Ukraine the antiterrorist organization against the country-aggressor. Ukrainians, like no one else, should understand that it is important to create the atmosphere for peace regulation of a dispute between two sides, far from any complications.
Ukraine never was a country-aggressor. We should make for peace decision issues concerning the regulation of relations between Israel and Palestine so not to give the push for the escalation of the conflict.
