The International Union of Journalists and Writers “IUJW,” is an independent, non-political organization created to protect the interests of journalists around the world, strengthen friendship and cooperation among people through free, truthful, honest public information, and protect support for freedom of the press and rights journalists. The organization was created to develop and promote the professional creative activity of journalists and writers worldwide and defend their interests.
The main tasks (MSZHP) are:
Protection of the rights and freedoms of journalists and writers, their economic and professional creative interests, copyrights, honor, and dignity.
Formation of a culture of honest and free journalism based on generally recognized professional conduct and ethical principles.
Promoting the dissemination in the media of the principles of combating xenophobia, extremism, and terrorism.
