The International Diplomatic Union (IDU) is the first of its kind in the world, originating from the organization of the International Congress for the Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens SHIELD. Through diplomacy, it contributes to the strengthening of international relations and the creation of a common basis for humanitarian consultations at various parliamentary, economic, political, cultural, scientific, and development levels, the spread of a culture of peace diplomacy and the training of specialists in the field of international relations.

The role of the Diplomatic Union is to promote diplomatic contacts and international relations at a high level, to study relations between states at the global level, as well as between states and organizations such as: the United Nations, the European Commission, the Security Organization. Relations between states are reflected in international trade, economic prosperity, migration, the global environment, transnational organized crime, war, global peace, and security, leading to tangible results at the international and national levels.
The Union pays special attention to international law, diplomatic relations and international organizations, constitutional law and political systems, the law of the resolution of armed conflicts, international law, and international treaties, which aims to train academically and professionally specialized personnel in the field of international law, international relations and diplomacy, capable of fulfilling their duties in councils and parliaments, ministries, embassies, and international governmental and non-governmental organizations.
